Visiting the House of Commons
Ottawa is a beautiful and historic city to visit, and I encourage any constituents who are making a trip to Ottawa to come and experience the workings of our Canadian Parliament.
Parliament Hill, located on Wellington Street in downtown Ottawa, is open to visitors free of charge, seven days a week. Visitors may take a guided tour of West Block, attend live debates, and explore the Memorial Chamber.
For those constituents who visit from the riding of Saskatoon-University, and who wish to watch the proceedings in the House of Commons, I would be happy to make arrangements to request seats in the private Member’s Gallery. As seating in these galleries is limited, it is best to contact my office in advance of the date in which you wish to visit.
Additionally, I would be pleased to personally welcome you to my Parliamentary office on the Hill. Please do not hesitate to contact my office if you plan to visit Ottawa. The door is always open for those from home!
